About
I started my own journey working in mental heath as an intern when I was in College. I immediately felt the importance of connecting with others and was inspired by people supporting each other. I continued on as a program manager with youth who gave back to their community, explored the natural world, and gained insight and confidence in themselves. During my time at Pacifica Graduate Institute I honed my skills as a therapist and grew my passion for this work. Pacifica taught me that therapy is learning to lean in and sit with the unknown or uncomfortable. I learned to listen, validate, explore, play, and examine patterns and unconscious process' that we so often hold on to. My work as therapist in Community Mental Health taught me about the power of family and community. You are what inspires me in this work. My approach to counseling is to lean in and develop a plan to help you find ways to best support yourself.
I look forward to beginning this journey with you.
